Eating on the pistes

This spacious and comfortable room with its welcoming decor is just 150m from the cable car. It has a solarium and there are always embers glowing in the hearth.
It was built in 1970 and is a unique and wonderful little bit of paradise. Whether you're sitting in the room or out on the terrace there are magical views out across the mountains.

The ‘Jospeh Garabet’ room – or ‘Hors Sac’ room as it is more commonly known – has recently been renovated and fitted with an environmentally-friendly heating system. The embers in the two fireplaces are used to heat water which is then pumped around the radiators in the room.

And the speciality here is that you can grill anything you want - sausages, a side of bacon, Catalan onions, or whatever you fancy.

In the Capcir, right at the top of the Les Angles skiing area, there lies a chalet of the sort normally only found in picture books.

‘Le Chalet’ is a high altitude restaurant where holidaymakers can enjoy the generous cuisine, warm setting, and indulge in some pure comfort.

The self-service restaurant serves colourful, home-made cuisine made using fresh regional produce, herbs, and spices. There is also mouth-watering fresh pasta and lovingly cooked dishes served with their own accompaniment, grilled meats cooked over a wood fire, or sandwiches of course for those in a hurry.

The restaurant pulses with the life of the resort and there is even a gangway linking it to the cable car.
And since the joys of the mountain are so easily within reach - by ski - you can also enjoy a group booking at 'Le Chalet' in the evening.
