1966 saw the inauguration of the Les Angles Ski Club. Amongst the enthusiasts who set up the club was Paul Samson, the mayor who founded the ski resort two years earlier. Ever since it was set up it has trained young sportsmen and women and residents from the Pyrénées Orientales and neighbouring departments.
The Ski Club has always known how to make the very best of the resort's way of life, promoting competitive skiing but with a human dimension.
Surfing Club Angles was born in 1992 and "high" renowned snowboarders.
In 2009 the Ski Club became the Les Angles Omnisport Club, with different sections for skiing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding, and disabled skiing. The club enables over 160 youngsters of between 4 and 20 years of age to get the most out of all snowsports disciplines.
This is the ambition of all the members and partners of the Les Angles Omnisport Club.

The ADAPACC Association in Les Angles seeks to promote the development of physical activities for the disabled. It specialises in accompanying disabled skiers and has recently doubled its activity.
It helps skiers with over a dozen different pathologies.
One of ADAPACC’s missions is to train people and it has been appointed by the manufacturer to train monitors in using the GMS seat and deliver the relevant diploma.
